Trish went to a river and talked about geography. The math teachers on her trip did some calculations of water speed by dropping oranges in the river and timing them.
I joined a teacher whose subject is Environmental Science, so we went out camping in the environment. Well, more like glamping because the tents were oh so nice, with attached bathrooms even. And bathrooms that are better then some hotels I have stayed at.
We drove up a monsoon wash, that is dry this time of the season. We went on a safari, no tiger sightings sadly. We went to an orphanage as well. We sat around the fire at night and learned about the environment around us.
Come take a peek.
Any hoo-below is the orphanage singing us welcome songs. Just little bits of two of the songs. Very touching.
Below that is some of the bigger students playing with the younger students!
Enjoy!
